Here are some of my projects - outside my day-to-day work - which I consider worthy of recording:

Visiting "Intelligent Health" at World Summit AI in Doha, Qatar in December 2024 

As co-founder of docliv.com and supporting my good friend Dr. med Marco Egbring with the focus on creating awareness for Docliv`s experience, data and technolgy in pharmacogenetics and expertise on drug-drug-gene interaction and identifying patients at risk. 

The conference by inspiredMinds was was perfectly organized, bringing together changemakers, scientists and technology-leaders from around the globe. The event provided the ideal platform to discuss opportunities provided by AI in healthcare and in general. It was higlhly inspiring to learn about Qatar`s initiatives on personalized medication and precision medicine. We would love to collaborate,  united in the conviction that there is nothing more important than advancing healthcare, promoting health for increased health span and quality in life. 

To me personally it was very impressive to see, how Doha has developed into a truely amazing modern city (since my last visits in the years before 2004). I am looking forward to my next visit. 

Visiting Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week (ADGHW) in May 2024, exploring the future of healthcare.

As founder of docliv.com and accompanying my good friend Dr. med Marco Egbring, with the focus to build new business relations in GCC / EMEA and create awareness for docliv.com data sciene technology and expert knowledge in phramacogenetics and analysis of drug-drug-gene interaction. 

The visit turned out to be a great source of inspiration. The show was perfectly organized bringing together scientists and specialist from around the globe. From longevity, AI-supported pharmacogenomics, precision healthcare to quantum sensing and quantum communications the trade show provided an ideal platform to discuss the future of healthcare in its diversity. It was most impressive to see how integral Emarati women are at the highest level in the health, science and research sectors.

The visit from HH Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, son of the UAE President (see foto below) showcased the great support ADGHW and healthcare in general is receiving from the U.A,E. government.

I believe we can all agree there is nothing more important than good health!

To me personally this visit provided the opportunity to meet with friends from old and re-visit familiar places in Abu Dhabi (after 20 years of absence). I love the place!

2024 started with a 4 day work-travel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, supporting Delta-Fitness on behalf of SportsArt at the Jedfit Trade Show. I was overwhelmed by the hospitality of my newfound friends  in Jeddah. I was stunned by the size of this 6 Mio strong Metropole on the red sea coast. I was very impressed by the level of professionality at the trade show, the social media coverage, the level of digitalization, the venue (Supedome Jeddah).  I very much enjoyed Al Balad, the historical quarter of Jeddah and the sight of the beautiful crystal clear waters of the red sea.

But undoubtely the most lasting impression of my visit is the outstanding hoypitality of the people I meet in Jeddah. Many thanks to my new friends at SportsArt und Delta-Fitness KSA for making this visit possible. 

2023 was filled with many corporate health projects, implementing health promoting services and offers at government bodies and companies, big and small. Among these big players like Siemens, Adidas, Lufthansa, Samsung, Payback, Teamviewer, Lear ... innovative Stars like Lilium, Y-food Jetbrains ... national heros like Gienger Logistics, ARGE München, Deutsche Bundesbank and many many more.

Especially memorable were the projects:

At Adidas, where sports is part of everyday work, with Tennis- Volleyball-, Basketball-courts, Gym, Olympic Pool, Rockclimbing arena on the campus appearing busy all day.

Our health promotion for the ground staff of Lufthansa, which practically took place on the runway.

And inside the Parlament of Bavaria, of course.

2022 /10+11 creating the first digital advent calender on corporate health for Company move Gmbh,

a web based advent calender containing 24 video messages - one for each calender door - on selected health topics, ranging from office workouts, healthy nutrition, healthy sleeping, MBSR, digital detox to cognitive training and happiness research.

Corporate clients can not only chose between different layouts, but also brand the calender and personalize with christmas greetings to their staff or customers.

Turnkey project: conception, script writing, video production, marketing campaign and sales.

2022 /09+10 Conducting "Adventure Walks" for corporate clients.

Outdoor event centred around a 5 to 10 km walk in a chosen hiking area, with check point stations providing content on MBSR, teambuilding, healthy nutrition and exercise. 15 to 350 participants.
